Ever since I was a kid, I have always had a creative-driven passion, especially for art, but I didn't find my love for Game Design until my first year of A-Levels when I studied Software Systems Development (SSD). You could say this was my "love at first sight" moment for the games industry. I still remember printing my first "Hello World" and thinking I could achieve anything.

However, I didn't touch my first game engine until I went to Ulster University to study Games Design, which changed my perspective on everything. We were introduced to the Unreal Engine that houses the powerful C++ blueprints that I have grown to love.

Growing up with dyslexia, games have always been a visual escape, but designing games allows me to help others seek that immersive escape. My passion is to help create an experience for users to get lost in being someone they want to be in a visual world.

So, now, I am currently in my second year at University while maintaining my part-time Job at TK MAXX. I have challenged myself to take on greater responsibilities by becoming a course representative to voice my peer's opinions and help develop the course to get the recognition it truly deserves. I will also be working alongside Ulster Screen as an ambassador for the course, which will allow me to go to schools and events to help expand the game industry.

Lastly and most importantly when I'm not designing games I love to play them, tactical shooters such as Rainbow Six Siege has had me and my friends creating some funny and wonderful moments. When I'm not playing games you will find me out socialising with my friends, anything music-related you can count me in!
